The Greek God Diet
Updated: Oct 12

The Greek gods ate a diet of olives, olive oil, bread, tomatoes, grapes, onions, cucumbers, lentils, yogurt, meat, and other antioxidant-filled, nutrient-dense foods. These are food staples that’ll physically make someone beautiful inside and out.
These food items were paired with the ultimate genetics of the Greek gods. Perhaps we could take a page out of their cookbook, superhuman genetics aside. This is referred to as “The Divine Diet.”
If we look at the most prominent ingredients relevant to skincare, we are brought back to a Mediterranean diet. A diet that many are still encouraged to partake in. This type of diet may unlock a potential that many of us didn’t even know we had. These foods are anti-inflammatory. They offer a naturally potent blend of our daily vitamins and minerals. Not to mention, sacred foods such as wine and bread were offered to deities. Foods like:
Ambrosia
Nectar
Tomatoes
Red Onion
Pomegranate
Barley
Cucumber
Fresh Seafood
Olive Oil
Honey
Olives
Yogurt
